Today's make is a simple Anniversary Card, made with Papermania Parisienne papers for the background & sentiment. Sue Wilson Lattice Heart Die. Tattered Lace Marguerite Die. Nice quick easy one & very suitable for people who would prefer a less fussy card.

Circular Stepper Card Instructions

·        I cut a 7” Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circle

·        From the left, measure in to 10.5cm & pencil in a vertical line

·        To the right of this line score at 3.5cm, 5cm, 6.5cm, 8cm & 11.5cm from the bottom of the circle

·        On the left hand side of the inner circle & to the 10.5cm line, score at 8.5cm up from the bottom

·        As with a normal stepper card, cut along the pencilled vertical 10.5cm line between the horizontal 3.5cm & 11.5cm score lines

·        Folds are then valley on large left side & from the top of the circle, right hand side, valley, mountain, valley, mountain, valley. If you reverse the folds, you can have the steps on the opposite side of your card.

·        Trim the excess of the circle which will show after folds are done

To decorate:

·      Cover the card with chosen paper.

Die cut a Spellbinders Ovals shape from 250gsm card as the base for the Marianne Prim Poppy Die cut  embossed with daisy folder, leaving a slight gap on the left for the feather behind & added Creative Expressions Itty Bitty Bow.

·        Flowers are my own & red ones from Samaflora

·        Flourish is Tattered Lace Ornamental Rose

*note: be careful to balance up the trimmings so the card is not too heavy on one side, then it will stand nicely. Also, I used a 300gsm card base to support the weight of the embellishments. If your card has “giraffe legs” make a small V shaped piece of card inside underneath & stick to either side of the edges of the circle to create a restraint as it stands

My #artchain challenge for Day 1:

Here I have created an 8" card using the beautiful Arab photo taken by Lesley Durrant Photography. The dies used are Spellbinders Grand Large Squares to mat & layer the base card, Grand Decorative Ovals, Tattered Lace Ornamental Rose & the Crystal Poinsettia is by Samaflora.
